Overview

Seattle Brand Agency has been a long-term creative partner of Save the Children Japan in Mongolia, joining forces on multiple campaigns and advocacy projects aimed at protecting children’s rights and well-being. In 2024, the agency successfully implemented the third phase of the campaign “You Are Not Alone,” which focuses on preventing violence and exploitation against girls.

This phase of the campaign was specifically designed for child protection professionals, aiming to raise awareness and promote the integration of trauma-informed and survivor-friendly services into their daily practices. The initiative sought to deliver knowledge, empathy, and actionable insights that can help professionals provide safer, more understanding care for survivors.

As part of the campaign, Seattle Brand Agency produced a short fictional film, along with poster content and a launch event, developed to convey key messages through emotional storytelling and visual impact.

Poster Content

Titled “The Survivor — Don’t Hurt Again,” the film presents a fictional narrative inspired by real social issues, created to depict sensitive themes with empathy and respect. Every element of the screenplay — from the dialogue to the visual language — was carefully crafted in line with international child protection standards. The film avoids direct depictions of abuse, instead highlighting the compassion and professionalism of those who support survivors.

Behind The Scene

The film features five young women aged 21 and above, all studying performing arts, who portrayed the fictional roles under full parental consent and after receiving guidance on safe and ethical performance practices. Supporting roles were played by real child protection professionals, including representatives from the General Police Department of Mongolia, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, district social workers, and psychologists — adding authenticity and credibility to the film’s message.

Filming took place over 20 days, with the official premiere held in January 2024, attended by more than 300 child protection specialists from across the country.

Event after video

This project stands as the first educational fictional film in Mongolia created specifically for child protection professionals — a significant milestone for the sector. The film has since reached over 1 million combined views across online and offline channels, reinforcing its role as a meaningful tool for awareness, empathy, and professional growth within the child protection community.
